- Hanford K Basins- Fluor assisted the US Department of Energy Hanford Site in cleaning and closing the K-Basins, which held tons of radioactive waste. 
- Fernald Closure Project- The US government hired Fluor in 1992 to cleanup and close the Fernald weapons processing site. 
- Housing Victims of Hurricane Katrina- After Hurricane Katrina devastated the gulf coast in 2005 Fluor worked tirelessly to provide housing for those displaced by the storm.
